Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors
Provides support services for people grieving the loss of loved ones who were military personnel. Services include peer mentoring, grief and trauma resources, healing seminars and retreats for adults, camps for children, casework assistance, connections to community-based care, and online and in-person support groups.
Vet Center Call Center
Provides hotline for combat veterans and their families to talk about their military experience or other issue they are facing in their readjustment to civilian life.
VA Caregiver Support Line
Provides telephone support to family caregivers who care for veterans. Website provides information about self-care and dealing with stress, videos which can be viewed online, and various activity sheets.
Provides confidential peer support to active duty servicemembers, National Guard members, reservists, veterans, and their families and caregivers. Offers referrals to community services.
Help 4 Hep
Provides peer-to-peer helpline for people living with Hep C. Offers support and information on prevention, risk factors, and treatment. Website provides materials which can be downloaded and links to additional resources.
Veterans Crisis Line
Connects veterans to the nearest available crisis call center in the network. Veteran callers in emotional crisis speak to trained VA hotline counselors who help them locate the best service and facility for their needs. All calls are anonymous.
Crisis Text Line
Provides free, confidential crisis intervention texting for youth and adults.
